Sixteen local soldiers became citizens during a ceremony in Fort Knox.
The soldiers were from Fort Campbell and Fort Knox, Kentucky.
During the immigration and naturalization citizenship ceremony, they swore their allegiance to the United States.
It was held at the auditorium of General George Patton Museum Wednesday.
