Officials with the Tennessee Wildlife and Resource Agency has responded to a death at Old Hickory Lake in Hendersonville.
According to Chief Scotty Bush a boat and jet ski were involved in an accident in the channel of Blue Grass Point.
Christopher Lindroth, 58, was driving the jet ski when it collided with a boat. He was taken to Hendersonville Medical Center where he later died.
Officials said the boat and jet ski were about to cross paths; but each driver tried to correct in the same direction.
The driver of the bass boat pulled the man into the boat and drove him back to the dock to receive help. No charges are expected
Chief Bush said only one person was on the boat. TWRA officials are conducting an investigation.
It's not exactly clear how the crash happened. The man was wearing a life jacket.
