A California home's Christmas display has gone viral because of its hilarious double meanings

Kyle Gunderson's home features multiple Christmas puns, making the hilarious display of what he and his wife have named the Winter Punderland.

He told NewsChannel 5 that his love for puns stretches back two generations.

"My dad and grandfather have always been big on puns. My dad a few years ago said he always wanted to do the "No L" idea. This year, I was thinking about the Noel idea, and it made me ask what other puns there are," said Gunderson.

His wife, Cori, helped narrow the list of the many Christmas puns they come up with into the several seen on their home. She also designed a few puns herself including Christmas Matt and seasons greetings.

"She has always been super patient with me and my puns, and I found myself the perfect woman," said Gunderson.

As of December 18, the video had been viewed more than 20 million times.

"The response from friends and family has been great. People were confused when I began adding puns to our yard, but once complete, neighbors were out front guessing and having a lot of fun. One neighbor told another, "Hmmm... Must be a millennial thing" which gave me a laugh," Gunderson said.
