Even though Christmas is seven weeks away, many Americans cannot hold in the holiday spirit. Outdoor Christmas displays are popping up across the nation, lighting up homes from coast to coast.
Perhaps Americans are spurred by continuous Christmas music being played on local or satellite radio stations. Others might have seen displays that have been set up across various malls and shopping center across the country.
Some Americans in the Midwest and Northeast might have been encouraged by unusually warm weather during the first two weeks of November. Temperatures reached the mid-70s all the way to the Canadian border. In some spots, the high temperature was more than 25 degrees above average.
Whatever the reason, people are hanging Christmas lights, and will have plenty of time to enjoy them between now and Dec. 25.
