GIFT CARDS OR MONEY
Gift cards or money may not sound exciting or fancy, but ask just about anyone between the ages of 10 and 18 what they want and they’ll bluntly tell you: “How about money or gift cards?”
Somewhere along the way, someone decided it is “tacky” to give this as a gift. “Money isn’t special enough,” and “gift cards are a thoughtless, lazy gift,” are the most common reasons given by those who look down on these ideas.
