This Friday, Nov. 27, expect to pay more for some items, even though it's usually the best day of the year to snatch a bargain.
According to an analysis by WalletHub, 17.2 percent of items will cost more. For example, the data shows a Playmation Marvel Avengers Starter Pack Repulsor normally costs $69.99 on Amazon.com. But for Black Friday, the item will be $114.35 — that's an increase of $44.26.
Other findings:
— On Amazon, a Firmstrong Urban Boy Single Speed Beach Cruiser, normally $204.23, will cost $244.01
— On Amazon, an Allen Sports Downtown Aluminum 1 Speed Folding Bicycle is normally $299.99, but will be $349.01
— A Razor McGrath Dirt Rocket Electric Motorcross Bike, also found on Amazon, typically sells for $299, but on Friday will be $419.97
— Groupon will have some items priced higher, including a WowWee Miposaur Remote-Controlled Dinosaur for $95.20 ... $10.18 higher than the pre-Black Friday price. It will also have a Proform Hybrid Cycle/Elliptical Trainer, normally $299.99, for $367.54
