Black Friday shopping really isn't reserved for just one day anymore.
The deals are already starting today, the first day of November, with Amazon.com hosting a "Countdown to Black Friday Deals Week." Black Friday, which in previous years has been the most popular day for shopping, takes place Nov. 27 this year.
The countdown page reads: "Black Friday 2015 is almost here, but we didn't want you to wait until the day after Thanksgiving for Black Friday deals, so we kicked off the savings a little early. We are counting down to the big day with even more deals, all day, every day. You'll find Amazon's fantastic early Black Friday sales right here."
Black Friday circular ads for some major retailers have already been leaked online, and places such as Toys R Us and Kmart have already shared their holiday books and top toy suggestions. Amazon also released a top-toys list.
As of Sunday morning, Amazon's featured deals were not the more expensive items typically featured in Black Friday sales, such as flat-screen televisions. Items marked "deal of the day" included things such as select SKLZ pro-mini basketball hoops for half off the regular price, and 50-percent off an array of Remington beauty appliances.
