HELPING IMPRISONED MEN REENTER SOCIETY

Men of Valor is a faith-based nonprofit organization working in Middle Tennessee to equip men to reenter society after incarceration with integrity – helping them become givers to the community rather than takers. It's an important mission, especially in the state of Tennessee.

More than 50,000 people are in prison or jail in Tennessee. Many of these individuals will become, or already are, repeat offenders.

BREAK THE CYCLE OF INCARCERATION

Men of Valor begins working to break that destructive cycle while men are still incarcerated. In partnership with the state of Tennessee and CoreCivic, Men of Valor works to prepare individuals for a life of freedom. Once they are released, Men of Valor continues to help - offering mentoring, job readiness training, food, clothing, transportation, housing assistance and much more.

CoreCivic is proud to partner with Men of Valor in their shared reentry mission at the Metro-Davidson County Detention Center in Nashville and Trousdale Turner Correctional Center in Hartsville. 95 percent of incarcerated people in the United States will one day be released. With the help of organizations like Men of Valor, we can make sure they're ready.
