That's why it's nice when stores reward Black Friday dedication with a free gift.

Bass Pro Shops – Free 4×6-inch photo with Santa Claus.

Cabela’s – First 600 shoppers in line get a free gift when stores open at 5 a.m.

Gander Mountain – First 100 customers when the store opens at 5 a.m. get a free item or up to 50 percent off of a purchase. Also, entry for a chance to win a $500 gift card.

Gold’s Gym – Get a free one-day membership on Black Friday, which the company has dubbed "Trim-the-Fat Friday."

Half Price Books – First 100 shoppers get a free tote bag and a gift card, ranging from $5 to $100. Shoppers who buy a $25 Half Price Books gift card will get a free $5 gift card.

JCPenney – Shoppers get a free collectible Disney snow globe, starting at 3 p.m.

Michaels – First 21 customers get a $5 gift card. One shopper will get a $20 gift card.

PetSmart – First 100 shoppers get a free pawprint ornament and a free movie rental.

Sam’s Club – Members get a free breakfast from 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Breakfast will include orange juice, biscuits and gravy, muffins and fruit.

Sports Authority – First 80 customers get a $15 gift card.
