A memorial was built in honor of a Grand Ole Opry member who lost her life on the way to an Opry show in 1991.
Fellow Opry member Jeannie Seely and friends constructed a memorial for Dottie West on Tuesday.
The new memorial was situated off of what's now become the Opry Mills Drive exit on Briley Parkway.
West lost her life 25 years ago when she got a ride to the Opry after her car broke down, but the driver lost control on the curve.
Seely has also been pushing to get Dottie West into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
West was 58 years old when she died.
Her hits included "Country Sunshine" and "Lesson in Leavin'."
