Authorities have identified the person killed in a crash on Highway 109 in Wilson County.
Officials with the Wilson County Emergency Management Agency said the crash happened Sunday afternoon on Highway 109 at Burton Road.

According to troopers with the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a vehicle being driven by 29-year-old Edgar Franco, of Lafayette, was traveling north when it rear-ended a car in front of it, causing a chain reaction crash.
After the impact, Franco’s car crossed the center line and struck a semi head-on.
A total of five vehicles were involved in the wreck, which shut down the road for hours.
Troopers said Franco’s passenger, identified as 28-year-old Sergio Lopez, was killed.
Two others were reportedly injured and taken to an area hospital by LifeFlight. Eight others involved in the crash were not hurt.
Charges were said to be pending in the case.
