NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A fire at a townhome in the Donelson area killed two animals on Thursday morning.
The Nashville Fire Department said the fire broke out at a home on Niagra Drive early in the morning where two people lived with their two dogs and cat. When firefighters arrived, the two people were already outside the home. Crews went inside for their pets, but only one dog survived the fire.
The two people were not hurt.
Fire investigators are looking into what caused the fire.
