A toddler was killed in a rollover crash involving a cement mixer truck in Montgomery County.
It happened on Highway 76 near Ford Road in Clarksville Tuesday.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol's crash report, 28-year-old Terrance Harris was driving a Chevy Impala with a 19-year-old, Jamal Lipford, and a 2-year-old boy in the vehicle as well.
Harris allegedly crossed the center line, hitting an on-coming cement mixer traveling east.
Officials said the truck driver, 43-year-old Dexter McDaniel, slammed on his brakes before impact, but it wasn't enough to stop the crash.
The truck turned over on its side, blocking both east and west lanes of the highway.
The toddler was killed in the crash, and Harris was injured. However, the extent of his injuries were not clear.
Charges were pending in the case.
