Police have been searching for a robbery suspect who stole cash after being in and out of a store in about one minute.
The crime happened around 8:18 p.m. Wednesday at the Dollar General on Old Nashville Highway near Rock Springs Road in Smyrna.
Authorities said the suspect went into the store, asked the clerk to move while the cash drawer was open, took cash from the drawer, and left around 8:19 p.m.
The suspect was wearing a blue ball cap, brown jacket with a hoodie, blue jeans, and black sneakers with white soles.
Emergency officials who responded reported seeing a yellow sport bike-type motorcycle leaving the area headed southbound on Old Nashville Highway at a high rate of speed; however, it was not known if the suspect was the driver.
