One person was injured after a single passenger plane crashed in Murfreesboro.
According to Murfreesboro Fire and Rescue, it happened Sunday afternoon on East Norfield. The 79-year-old male piloting the plane, who was the plane's only passenger, was hurt and taken to St. Thomas Rutherford with non-life-threatening injuries.
We're told there was a small fuel leak after the crash, but no fire.
The FAA and NTSB have both been called to the scene.
