Search For Missing Riverdale Student Continues

Posted

Rutherford County Sheriff's Deputies continued to search for missing 16-year-old Riverdale High School student Devin Bond.

Bond went missing from his home last Friday. He was last seen in bed late Thursday night at his Armor Place home.

Around 10 a.m. Friday, authorities said his 9-year-old brother confirmed Bond had put towels and pillows under a blanket to make it look like he was still in bed asleep.

Chief Deputy Keith Lowery said finding Bond is of “utmost importance” to the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office.

The search for Devin has been a coordinated effort with the Sheriff’s Office and Murfreesboro Police’s K-9s and the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s helicopter.

Detectives said they were following all leads while the School Resource Officers monitored social media and talked to students.

“We will continue to search diligently,” Lowery said. “The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office joins the family in finding Devin. We are asking for prayers in locating Devin.”

Anyone with information about where he could be should Detective Groce at 615-904-3049 or the Sheriff’s Communications at 615-898-7770.
