Road Rage Incident Sends 1 To Hospital

One person was sent to the hospital in critical condition after a road rage incident in Hendersonville.

Officials with the Hendersonville Police Department said it happened Friday morning at 7:18 at Anderson Lane and East Main St.

Officers responded to the scene thinking they were answering a call for a two-vehicle crash.

However they later learned the crash was a result of a road rage incident between the two drivers.

Police arrested 53-year-old Mark Scarborough of Hendersonville. He was charged with one count of assault and one count of burglary.

Officials said the charges were a result of the victim’s driver door being opened with the intent of an assault to the victim by Mark Scarborough.

The victim was taken to Skyline Hospital.
