A new report has named Nashville the “drunkest” city in Tennessee.

24/7 Wall St. released its findings Wednesday, reporting that just 11 percent of adults in Tennessee report excessive drinking – the smallest share of any state.

However, Metro Nashville’s excessive drinking rate came in at 13.7 percent – the highest in Tennessee.

The report said excessive drinking patterns can vary by region. The states with the lowest excessive drinking rates were concentrated in southern states, while those with the highest rates were listed in the Midwest.
