A security guard was shot when a gunman stormed into a Nashville convenience store.
The incident happened at the R&R Drive-In Market on Jefferson Street around 10 p.m. Thursday.
Officers with Metro Nashville Police said a man was trying to rob the store when he shot the guard in the arm. The guard returned fire as the suspect fled the scene.
It was unclear if the suspect was hit. The security guard was expected to be okay.
NewsChannel 5 has obtained surveillance video from inside the business, which shows the suspect pointing a gun before ducking and running for cover.
