Road closures and large crowds due to President Trump's visit to Nashville have prompted the question of where to park in downtown during and leading up to his rally
wondering where they will be able to park in downtown Nashville leading up to President Trump's rally at Municipal Auditorium.
Police Announce Road Closures Ahead Of Presidential Visit
The president is expected to arrive at the auditorium in the early evening, and while there are thousands expected to attend and listen to the president speak, there are also thousands of protesters expected outside of the auditorium.
Due to road closures and the large crowds expected, state offices in the downtown Nashville area are set to close at noon on Wednesday.
Because of that, state surface parking lots will be available for the public to use, as well as street parking where there are no bags over meters, and regular parking garages.
Special for Wednesday, Nissan stadium will have the G and M lots open at 2 p.m. and available for people to park at, all at no charge.
Another option is to avoid parking altogether and use ride sharing apps like Uber and Lyft, but if you go that route, you're encouraged to leave extra time so your driver can navigate around the closed streets.
