Metro Nashville Fire Department investigated a house fire that damaged a home in Wedgewood early Monday.
The fire was reported around 12:30 a.m. on Moore Avenue.
Investigators said a neighbor called for help. When crews arrived, they saw flames coming out of a bedroom's windows on the side and back of the home.
Firefighters had to force their way into the home because the doors were locked. No one was inside.
A fire investigator is now looking into how the fire started, and work is being done to identify and notify the homeowners.
Crews said there were no working fire alarms in the home.
