A Nashville firefighter was hospitalized after an ammonia leak near Trevecca Nazarene University.
Crews said Monday night that one valve went out on a tank of ammonia at the Cold Storage of Nashville – causing all of them all to go out.
It ended up being a minor leak in just one of those tanks.
Residents in the Hackworth Street area, near the Trevecca campus, were asked to shut their windows and stay inside as a precaution.
One Nashville firefighter was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, but has since been released.
Crews were on scene for about five hours through the night. All roads have since reopened.
