NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Middle Tennessee is home to one of the 10 cheapest places for Millennials to live...and it should surprise no one that Nashville is not that city.

Instead, it's Clarksville coming in at No. 7 in the nation according to a new study from GOBankingRates.

Even more interesting, Clarksville has the eighth-largest percentage of millennial-aged residents of cities in the study, with more than 1-in-4 people living there considered a millennial. (27.4%) According to the study, the cost of living in Clarksville is 8% below the national average.

The only other Tennessee city to make the list was Memphis at 43rd. No Kentucky cities were in the top 50.

Sanford, Florida; Columbus, Ohio; Enterprise, Nevada; Orlando, Florida; and Kileen, Texas made the top 5.
