Police say they have recovered marijuana plants growing behind a local Walmart.
Four weed plants were found in the woods behind the Walmart in the 3400 block of Dickerson Pike.
Officials could be seen coming from the tree line with the plants after removing them.
According to police, a team of contractors found them while working in the field. A security guard with them was also a former police officer. He recognized the plants were marijuana and contacted police.
Some Walmart employees said they've seen kids in the field before.
The Metro Nashville Police Department sent an aviation team to check for a massive grow operation from the air.
So far, authorities said they've only found four plants, and no arrests have been made.
