Few details have been released from authorities following a vehicle fire on Interstate 40.
Officials said the incident happened in the eastbound lanes in Wilson County at the Davidson County line just after 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
Those at the scene said the car was engulfed in flames. There was no word on any possible injuries that may have been involved.
The center lanes were blocked to eastbound drivers. Westbound traffic was not affected.
The roadway was cleared around an hour later.
