Fire fighters had to deal with a large mess Wednesday morning after the cab of a tractor trailer caught fire on the interstate.
Officials said the cab of the trailer became engulfed in flames around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The truck could be seen parked on the side of Interstate 40 near Old Hickory Boulevard.
It’s not known what led to the blaze.
The cab of the truck was so badly damaged that officers weren’t sure if crews would be able to tow it away.
It’s not known what the truck was hauling.
