Police in Clarksville have released the name of a pedestrian who was killed after being hit by a vehicle.
The incident happened just before 6:20 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Peachers Mill Road and Providence Boulevard.
Authorities confirmed the pedestrian, 50-year-old Mark Ingraham, of Clarksville, passed away at the scene.
The roadway was closed for a couple hours Thursday evening as crews worked at the scene.
Details on the incident were limited. Authorities said the investigation remained ongoing.
