A man previously reported missing in Coffee County nearly a week ago has been found dead. No foul play was suspected.
Officials with the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office said 35-year-old Benjamin Cox was reported missing on August 17.
His family grew concerned after not hearing from him for a period of 24 hours and said he may not had taken his required medication.
Authorities confirmed Tuesday that his body had been located.
His cause of death was unknown. Investigators said foul play was not suspected.
An autopsy has been scheduled.
