Crews have finished repairing a sink hole in Maury County.
The incident was reported along Highway 31 late Monday night.
According to officials, the sinkhole caused part of Highway 31 Northbound to collapse near the Extended Stay Suites.
The Columbia Police Department posted a traffic alert on its Facebook page, urging drivers to avoid the area.
????TRAFFIC ALERT????Highway 31 Nothbound, (Nashville Highway) at Extended Stay Suites traffic is down to one lane. EXPECT DELAYS. Motorists are encouraged to seek an alternate route.
