A cargo fire on Interstate 840 has shut down some lanes of traffic.
The incident happened before 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the eastbound lanes of the interstate near mile marker 54, just before the exit for Northwest Broad Street.
Details had not been released regarding the cause of the fire or if any injuries were involved.
Authorities said the right lane was blocked to eastbound drivers. Westbound traffic was not affected.
Crews said the roadway was cleared before 6 p.m.
