A body was found in the Cumberland River in Clarksville overnight.
Authorities confirmed the Coast Guard found the body caught up in some netting around 1 a.m. Saturday.
The body was taken to the Riverfront area in Nashville and given to Metro police for further investigation.
An autopsy has been planned as well as efforts to identify the person.
