A body has been found along train tracks near the Cumberland River in downtown Nashville.
The body was found after 8 a.m. Monday on First Avenue South near the Music City Star's Riverfront location.
An official with Metro Nashville Police said a passerby was coming into downtown by train and noticed a deceased person on the side of the tracks.
Police said a man in his 20s was found face down on the ground. Foul play was not suspected at this time.
Metro Police Captain John Drake said the victim may have fallen and could have suffered an injury.
It's unclear as to when the person died. He did not have any form of ID on him.
Investigators said they are reviewing surveillance footage to try and determine his last known whereabouts.
