One of the attorneys at the center of the high profile Holly Bobo murder case has been suspended for two years.
According to the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility, John Herbison was suspended for two years for taking a non-returnable attorney’s fee but failing to complete the work.
Herbison has been representing Jason Autry, one of three men accused of murdering the nursing student back in 2011.
The attorney will not be able to practice law for two months. He will then be on probation for the remainder of the two years as long as he makes restitution.
This was not the first time Herbison has been suspended for practicing law. He was suspended back in 2014 and had to sit out for part of the Vanderbilt Rape case.
As of Tuesday afternoon, Herbison was still representing Autry.
