Two people were killed in a fire at a mobile home in northern Coffee County.
Officials said the fire was reported just before midnight Tuesday on Lloyd Boynton Road.
According to Coffee County Investigator Billy Marcom, two people were killed in the fire that destroyed the home and a vehicle.
Authorities said all local volunteer fire departments were called to the scene, and when emergency workers arrived, the mobile home was fully engulfed in flames.
Marcom said the state bomb and arson squad was called to the scene, but the cause of the fire had not yet been determined.
The two victims had not been identified. Officials confirmed their remains were sent to the medical examiner’s office in Nashville.
