A search has gotten underway in Hickman County after an inmate escaped from jail.
Sheriff’s office officials said they’re actively searching for Michael Wayne McNeil.
McNeil allegedly escaped from the Hickman County Jail Wednesday evening, possibly between the hours of 6:30-7 p.m.
Investigators said he’s been known to frequent the Lyles/Bon Aqua and Fairview areas.
He was last seen wearing a county orange jumpsuit with white tennis shoes and a black and gray ball cap.
Anyone with information was asked to call 911.
