A mural that has become an iconic symbol in the 12 South area of Nashville has been vandalized.
Vandals apparently struck the “I Believe in Nashville” mural overnight Wednesday.

Employees who work at the building said they realized the sign had been partially painted over when they arrived at 5:45 a.m.
It’s unclear if there are any security cameras in the area.
