It was unclear if anyone was home at the time the fire started. One person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation, but it was not clear if the victim lived at the home.
Neighbors said the house was fully engulfed in flames by the time the fire department arrived. The home reportedly began to collapse when firefighters started dousing the house in water.
The investigation remained ongoing.
