A hearing was held in Hardin County in the Holly Bobo murder case, and the judge confirmed the trial, set to start July 10, will go on as scheduled.

A plea deal was rumored prior to the hearing Friday morning; however, that did not take place.

In the beginning of March, Judge Creed McGinley granted a continuance, which delayed the case until July 10.

Judge McGinley cited a few reasons for the continuance including the fact that defense lawyers were still waiting for discovery evidence.

The defense made an oral motion for a continuance on Friday, but the judge denied it.

Multiple issues were discussed, including whether or not Dylan Adams would be a witness. The defense attorney responded, "We do not know whether Dylan Adams will be a witness or not a witness in this case."

The State has made immunity agreements with at least five people, according to the judge.

According to information revealed during the hearing, the State has also found a new gun that they intend to introduce as evidence during Zach Adam's trial. It was unclear how the gun was connected to the case.

Judge McGinley said the jurors have been scheduled to work five and a half day weeks, with the half day being on Saturdays.
