Miles away from the Predators pandemonium on Broadway, the REVV Boutique in Hillsboro Village has found their niche in the Nashville or rather Smashville community with Preds gear.
"It's all day, every day. Hey, where can I find this, do you have this certain style," said store owner Laci Bonner.
Their "Nash Collection" is the brain child of Bonner and her right hand gal, Ally Barrett.
"I felt like there was something missing in the market as far as a Nashville souvenir that wasn't cheesy," Bonner said.
As the Predator's season came to an end and the play offs began, REVV took its gear to the next level.
"They were talking about Smashville and the Preds, what could we do that would celebrate hockey? I said Smash, what if we put Smash on a hat," recalled Bonner.
The idea took off, it wasn't long until the player's were wearing their merchandise on networks like ESPN. Soon they were asked to partner with Preds apparel.
"Long story short we were not anticipating it at all, but it's been such a cool ride and the team has been nothing but awesome and supportive and same with the whole Smashville community," said Barrett.
For the Revv team, it means more customers like Robbie Patterson. "I've been looking for this hat now for the last week," he laughed. Patterson stopped in before making his way to the arena for Game 6 Monday. "I looked online, I also looked downtown at the store at the arena, so I'm excited these ladies have it. It's a great place," Patterson said.
The "SMASH" hats can be found on the Nash Collection's site or purchased in store at Bridgestone Arena or at REVV boutique in Hillsboro Village.
