SUMNER CO., Tenn. (WTVF) — A Hendersonville man was found dead at Old Hickory Lake following what authorities believe was a boating accident.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency says search began for Jeremy Key, 52, around 6 p.m. Friday at Creekwood Marina. Witnesses last saw Key leave the marina in a small jet-driven boat.

Officers found Key's boat unoccupied and going in circles. They say it may have hit a retaining wall.

Using sonar and a remote operated vehicle, they found Mr. Key's body in 12 feet of water Saturday afternoon.

The TBI will do a blood analysis. The Sumner County District Attorney's office did not order an autopsy.
