A firey crash on Interstate 40 East near the Davidson/Wilson County line shut down a portion of the road.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash, and one of them seemed to be destroyed when it caught fire.
It was unclear how many people were involved in the crash but none of them suffered serious injuries.
All of the eastbound lanes were closed for a some time until one lane could be reopened around 9 p.m.
Three of the lanes have since been reopened.
