Crews have responded to a structure fire at the Diaz Garage & Auto Repair shop in North Nashville.
The fire broke out Wednesday after noon at 202 East Trinity Lane. Heavy flames were coming from the building, and smoke could be seen for miles.
Several units from the Nashville Fire Department were on the scene, working to contain the blaze.
Most of the roof of the shop was gone. Another section had collapsed.
The fire was next door to the Trinity United Methodist Church. It was not clear if the church sustained any damage.
Details about the cause of the fire were not available.
It was unknown if there were any injuries.
