Timothy Batts, the Hendersonville father accused of killing his 11-year-old daughter, was ordered to remain in court during a bond hearing.

Batts pleaded not guilty to shooting and killing his 11-year-old daughter at home.

The hearing began around 2 p.m. Monday, and the judge heard testimony nearly all afternoon. Yet, the judge ruled to uphold the bond revocation, and Batts will remain in jail until trial.

Batts was indicted by a grand jury on several charges including reckless homicide in August.

He was released on bond after friends and family raised the money for his bond. However, his bond was revoked after he failed a drug test.
