A father and his two daughters were killed in a house fire in Moore County.
Authorities said the fire happened at a wood-frame home in the 1500 block of Shelbyville Highway, a Petersburg address.
The father, identified as 33-year-old Nathan Robinson, was killed. His two daughters, 13-year-old Cailyn and 8-year-old Gillianna, also lost their lives in the fire.
The mother, 36-year-old Elizabeth, and a son, 11-year-old Mason, were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for smoke inhalation. Officials said they were expected to be okay.
Authorities said the children were all home schooled.
It was unknown where the fire started in the home, and the cause remained under investigation.
