A family of three was displaced after their house caught fire in Goodlettsville.
Crews were called to the scene off Greer Road just after midnight Monday.
Officials said the son saw the fire inside and helped get his parents out out of the home.
A third of the home was destroyed. The remainder of the residence has bad smoke damage.
The Fire Chief said the family is very lucky to be okay.
