NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — After searching through the fog for hours, crews pulled a drowning victim from Percy Priest Lake Saturday afternoon.
According to the Nashville Fire Department, units responded to Tear Drop Island around 12:30 after a boater called 911 when they saw someone drowning. The caller tried to reach the person, but could not find them under the water.
Multiple agencies searched for the missing person, made more difficult by choppy water conditions and dense fog.
Divers eventually found the person's body. No information on the victim has been released.
