Country legend, Dolly Parton, announced the major addition of a light parade to Dollywood during the holiday season.
Red poinsettias were placed around the park Thursday, and the Christmas lights were expected to be up soon.
Seeing the park's holiday light display has become a tradition for many East Tennesseans and park visitors.
However, Parton said everyone can expect some new additions this holiday season.
"This year we're going to have a special thing, kind of because of our Coat of Many Colors, we're adding a parade and it's called the Parade of Many Colors. The parade specifically is not about my life and the stuff that's in the movie, but it has all the colors and all the feelings in my songs and in the coat."
"Dolly's Smoky Mountain Christmas" season was set to begin November 5.
