A dog was seized by animal control in Mt. Juliet after attacking two people.
It happened in Mount Juliet around 6 p.m. in the area of Sunnymeade Drive and South Rutland Road.
Officials with the Mt. Juliet Police Department said a woman walking on the greenway was bitten first, and after a firefighter arrived to help her, the same dog attacked him.
Animal control seized the dog, which will be monitored and quarantined for ten days.
An investigation was still underway as to why the dog was loose, and who was responsible.
