Tad Cummins, the man behind a month-long AMBER Alert of a 15-year-old girl, had his teaching license revoked.
Cummins was indicted on charges of transporting a minor across state lines for the purpose of engaging in criminal sexual conduct and obstruction of justice. He pleaded not guilty to the federal charges.
NewsChannel 5 learned Cummins' teaching license was revoked, and if he ever wanted to teach again he'd have to re-apply, which would then go to the board who would decide.
Cummins' story began when police say he kidnapped a 15-year-old girl from Maury County and led law enforcement on a nation-wide search.
