A body has been recovered from the Cumberland River in Nashville.
The incident was reported Thursday afternoon near mile marker 189 along the Cumberland River near the Jefferson Street Bridge.
Reports stated the decomposed body of a woman was found around noon. Authorities said her age, race, and identity were all unknown.
No additional details were known. The Medical Examiner has been set to determine the woman's identity and cause of death.
